Cheryl D. Garcia's artworks will remain on display indefinitely at South Stage Cellar's Tasting Room in Jacksonville. In addition to Cheryl's "Monumental" collection of wall hanging pieces & outdoor sculptures, new pieces and series will be introduced on a seasonal basis. "California Poppies", the landmark outdoor sculptural pieces will be welcoming visitors to Jacksonville through at least August 2011. Don and Traute Moore, the owners of South Stage Cellars and the Quail Run Vineyard were pleased to extend the show. We here at the Great Metal Works have long admired the work coming out of Central Point Oregon's Red Oak Glass Company. So, when Louis Colosimo, the owner and chief artist approached us about doing some collaborative work we definitely said we would consider it. Breathtakingly designed and built in our studio, these floor lamps incorporate Red Oak Glass' hand blown glass designs with Cheryl's organic sculptural bases. Jacksonville's Art Presence Show

Cheryl will be displaying metal artwork November 1st through 30th at Good Bean Coffee Company on Oregon Street in Jacksonville. This Art Presence showing will feature works from many talented Jacksonville artists. It's a great time of year to cozy up in the coffee shop and sip while you absorb some art, atmosphere and good conversation. Artworks will be available for purchase through the Good Bean.
